I had a lot of fun going through old photos for this week’s challenge on “Looking through a window” and found a whole whack of photos from just the first few folders that I looked in… if I have time over the next few days, I’ll continue my search and hopefully post some more photos, but for now, I am certain that these will tickle your fancy. Enjoy 🙂

Through a helicopter window over Vic Falls
Through a seaplane window in Maldives
Through an airplane window – haven’t a clue where I was coming in to land
Through an airplane window as I take off from Dubai
Through an aquarium window
Through the window of a building – looking onto the construction of Burj Khalifa
Through another aquarium window
Through an airplane window, again
Through the window of the over-water bungalow in Maldives
Through the window of a building – looking down onto the construction of the highways in Dubai
Through the aquarium window – the yellow object in the fish’s mouth is actually just a well-placed reflection 🙂
I have travelled to 37 countries and so I’ve seen my fair share of beauty that Mother Earth has to offer us… which means that finding photos for this challenge was a challenge in itself. I could spend hours going through my archives (I’m yet to save my photos in a program that allows tagging, and therefore searching) so I chose only a few places, and from there decided to use only photos that I’m fairly certain have not been used on my blog before. I find that oftentimes one photo could fit into many themes but I don’t want to keep using the same ones… I’d rather share some of the unseen beauties that I have hidden away 🙂
I hope you enjoy what I’ve put together for you this week!

Because I love travelling I thought for this week’s challenge I would share some of the signs I’ve seen on my travels around the world so far – some of them obvious, some of them just a little bit silly.
An invite to play “scrable” outside a bar in Beirut
Someone didn’t keep up with the signage when changing the doorknob…
A sign warning of the dangerous area ahead at Vic Falls
Love this – it’s a sign inside the shark tank at the Two Oceans Aquarium in Cape Town
After walking (hiking) up Table Mountain, you are greeted with this sign which is at the start of the trail back down the mountain…
One of my favourites – beer as the soup of the day outside a bar in Sydney 🙂
