When I saw the theme for this week’s photo challenge, I initially decided that I wasn’t going to take part… purely because I knew it would take me aaaaaagges to scour through my thousands of archived photos (I still really need to get my stuff sorted on Flickr or such!) and I don’t quite have the time for that.
But, then a friend messaged me during the week wanting to do something out of the house. So, after a bit of searching the internet on ideas of what to do around Dubai during the festive season that doesn’t involve eating (the reason why will be revealed at the end of this week), I found a Christmas market that we could visit. Now if that’s not anticipation for next week, then I don’t know what is 😉
I hope you enjoy the photos I had great fun taking! 🙂

Plastic. Not something one would think is specifically photographed often. Glass, yes. Steel (structures), yes. Ceramic, yes. But plastic. Well, I thought not.
So, I sat down the other evening and started going through my archives and boy was I shocked at just how many photos I have that are of plastic items! I’ve whittled my choices down to the bunch below – I just could not leave any of these off. Enjoy 🙂
Plastic Christmas tree
Plastic party favours at a bachelorette’s
Fish in plastic bags
Plastic toys, inside a plastic bag
Plastic wine glass
Plastic glasses on the beach
Plastic cat toys
Plastic beer glass
Plastic Betty Boop toys

I so wanted to head into the kitchen and take some photos specifically for this week’s challenge on kitchen & dining room items (this just goes to show how little time I actually spend in the kitchen 😳 ) but I have simply run out of time and the rest of the week doesn’t give me much opportunity either so instead I’ve taken a selection of photos showing dining room tables that I have photographed over the years – hope you’ll enjoy them 🙂
