I’m (sort of) running again!

The very slow journey back to running has started this week and I could not be happier!!!

My physio has assigned me 6 runs over 12 days, each slowly building upon the one before, with the last one being a solid 5km run!

Today was the second of these runs.

Day 1 – 1 min run / 1 minute walk for 20 minutes

Day 2 – 1 min run / 1 min walk for 24 minutes

With my injury only setting in at 5km’s, it’s difficult to tell if there are any issues when running like this… but it feels fantastic to be back out there!

Hopefully this is the start of good things to come!
