Simply Sydney

The sightseeing part of the Australia visit took part in Sydney… a whirlwind 3 nights, 2.5 days in total.

We tried to cram in as much as possible in the short time that we were there so on the first afternoon / evening we walked down to Circular Quay and hopped onto a ferry across to Manly, where we had a beer before heading back for some dinner.

The following day we decided to spend the day on a hop-on hop-off tour bus, and got off at some of the places where we wanted to spend extra time, or get a better view of. The tour buses run right through and around the city, and head out a little bit as well to Bondi Beach and beyond.

On our last day we decided to leave the city centre and venture out to the Blue Mountains, Featherdale wildlife sanctuary and a short visit to the Olympic Stadium!

Once again, I’m not going to bombard you with streams of writing… rather, you can just enjoy some of the (better) photos that I took! roll your mouse over for a brief description, or click on any of them to enlarge
