Weekly Photo Challenge: Habits

Oh my goodness it feels like absolute ages since I last posted something – I must apologise!

Life has been pretty crazy since returning from Australia (yes, those posts are still being put together…), attending the F1 Grand Prix (yes, another post waiting to happen), and now I’m sitting in Kurdistan again for work, having my residence visa renewed.

So, just to keep things fresh, here’s a quick one so that a) I’m blogging, b) I’m catching up a little on the Weekly Photo Challenge – Habit, c) I haven’t gone for a run in ages so it’s kinda a nudge at myself and d) running is one of my habits that I try keep extremely regular (although I am only human and lack sometimes :()

It’s not a fabulous photo, but it reminds me of a good, yet extremely tiring day of running… I had just done some interval training at 4pm, in August – HOT AS HELL Dubai weather. Ah how I miss running when I’m stuck here behind a desk!!!

My habit

  1. Hey there. Was just surfing the net and found your blog… I got intrigued as I see you’re into running (so am I), you are from JHB ( so am I), and you work at a company that sends you to Kurdistan ( so do I)! That’s a tad strange so just thought I’ll send you a note.

Which company do you work for in Dubai? I’m also based in Dubai working for a private security company with a role in finance. Never a dull day and have experienced Basra, Baghdad and KRG. Next stop is Libya which will should be interesting πŸ˜‰

    Keep well.

    • Hi Claire,

That is very strange… glad you stumbled upon my blog πŸ™‚
I work for a company that does surveying of oil fields. I’ve not experienced Basra or Baghdad (yet) but I really enjoy going to Suli and Erbil πŸ™‚

      Enjoy Libya!
Hope you stop by here again soon πŸ™‚
